Can I buy a propane tank and have my own installer set it?

Yes. Most tanks Gas Solutions Plus and Tanks sells outside Florida go to contractors and homeowners with their own licensed installer. The company supplies the tank and the install materials — regulators, PE pipe, risers, anode bags, fittings — and can size the tank and write the material list for the job.

What size propane tank should I buy?

A 120 gallon tank suits one appliance such as a range, water heater or fire feature. A 250 gallon tank runs two or three appliances. A 500 gallon tank is the common choice for a whole house, a standby generator or a pool heater. A 1000 gallon tank serves large homes, estates and commercial loads. Are your propane tanks new or used?
