Natural Gas Services

If your street has a natural gas main, we take it from the meter to every appliance — new piping, hookups, generator and pool heater connections, and conversions from propane — permitted, pressure-tested and inspected.

Meter to appliance

Everything on your side of the gas meter

The utility brings natural gas to the meter. Everything after that — the piping through your home, the regulators, the shut-offs, the connection at each appliance — is our work. We size it for the load, run it cleanly, and test it before it is ever lit.

  • New natural gas piping for new construction and remodels
  • Extending an existing line to a new appliance
  • Ranges, cooktops, ovens & dryers
  • Tankless & tank water heaters
  • Standby generators on natural gas
  • Pool & spa heaters
  • Outdoor kitchens, fire pits & grills
  • Propane-to-natural-gas conversions
  • Pressure testing, leak checks & inspections
What we do

Natural gas, done the same careful way

Natural gas runs at a different pressure and needs different appliance orifices than propane, but the discipline is the same: correct sizing, correct materials, a permit pulled with your building department, and an inspection passed before you cook on it.

New Gas Piping

Black iron or CSST run from the meter through the home, sized for every appliance you have now and the ones you are planning.

Appliance Hookups

Clean, code-compliant connections for ranges, dryers, water heaters and fireplaces — shut-off valve, sediment trap and flex connector at each one.

Generators on Natural Gas

No tank to fill. We size the line for the generator’s full load plus the house, and coordinate with your generator installer and electrician.

Propane to Natural Gas

When the gas main reaches your street we convert the system: regulators, appliance orifices and piping checked and changed, the propane tank removed or retired safely.

Pool & Spa Heaters

High-demand appliances that need a properly sized line to reach full output — the most common thing we see undersized.

Testing & Inspection

Every system is pressure-tested, leak-checked and inspected by your building department before it goes into service. We are a licensed LP and natural gas contractor (#LI100065), fully insured. You get the paperwork.

Propane or natural gas?

Which one is right for your home

We install both, so we have no reason to steer you. The short version:

Natural gas

Best when a gas main already serves your street. No tank, no deliveries, billed monthly by the utility. The utility sets the meter; we do everything after it.

Propane

Available everywhere, including where no gas main runs. More energy per cubic foot, your own supply on site during an outage, and you own the tank. See our propane tank installation page.

Not sure what you have?

Look for a meter on the outside wall (natural gas) or a tank in the yard (propane). Or send us a photo on the quote form and we will tell you.

Natural gas questions

Straight answers

Do you install natural gas lines, or only propane?

Both. We are a licensed LP and natural gas contractor (#LI100065). On natural gas we handle everything on your side of the meter: new piping, appliance hookups, generator and pool heater connections, repairs and conversions.

Who installs the gas meter?

The gas utility (FPU, TECO Peoples Gas, or your local provider) runs the service line and sets the meter. We do everything after it. If you are not a gas customer yet, we can tell you what to ask the utility for and coordinate the timing.

Can I convert from propane to natural gas?

Yes, once a meter is available at your property. Appliances need different orifices and regulators for natural gas, and the piping is checked or re-sized for the lower pressure. We make the change, have it inspected, and remove or retire your propane tank safely.

Does natural gas work need a permit in Florida?

Yes. Fuel gas piping is permitted and inspected by your city or county building department, the same as propane. We pull the permit, pressure-test the system and meet the inspector; you get the paperwork.

Will a natural gas generator run during a hurricane?

Usually yes. Natural gas mains are underground and rarely interrupted by wind, so a standby generator on natural gas needs no tank or refills. The line has to be sized for the generator's full load, which is the most common mistake we fix.
